Pulse = event live right now
Highway cams — turn on, tap for the live still
Right now
- A pulsing ring means that venue's event is running — from an hour before it starts to an hour after it ends
- Small dim dots are venues with something later today, not yet underway
- Solid red streets are closed at this moment; dashed pink ones close later
- Switch on Highway cams and tap one to see the road for yourself before you commit to it
Planning the drive
- Three or four pulses clustered together means a busy area — go early or go around
- Enforcement zones are the bans, work zones and rules in force now — each links its source
- Plate readers are permanent fixtures — they read every plate that passes
- Everything refreshes on its own; leave the tab open and it stays current
Closures and advisories: Monterey County Public Works feeds, plus curated City of Seaside street closures. Incidents: CHP. Cameras: Caltrans District 5 CCTV. Enforcement and plate-reader overlays share the enforcement map's sourced data. Venue times come from the same schedule as the What's on this week.
